Enables building of static page links and their contents
Website page builder and editor
The website builder allows you to build your website link structure in a tree like hierarchical organization. Your website links are divided into 4 sections as explained below:
This is a row of links that shows up at the top-most section of your website. It may contain links such as About Us, Testimonials, Contact, Sitemap, etc.. Some of these links could have sub-links as well to show more information under sub-sections.
The link structure you create here will be displayed on the website top menu bar as pull down menus. You can organize your main website content into various top level link categories. Each link category can have links and sub-categories organized in a tree structure. As you build your link structure here, pull down menus and sub-menus will automatically get constructed and show up on your website.
When you setup your website to Auto-build your product pages, you do not need to build any menu links manually. As you create item categories and sub-categories and add items from the item management sub-system, your main menu links are auto-built to display your item categories and sub-categories.
This will contain any number of links that are not directly accessible from above link sections, but are used for internal linking from within your inner pages.
Home Page: You will see a Home Page link under this section, pre-created by us. This link allows you to update your home page content. This link, along with a set of website setup interfaces, allows you to edit your home page content.
The Website Editor allows you to do the following:
Edit all existing pages that are pre-created by us.
Create unlimited number of web pages.
Disable any link/page that you do not want to be displayed on the website.
Delete a link/page if you are never going to need it.
You can create various types of links/pages, as follows:
This is a normal content page where you can write normal text along with inserted images. You can also insert hyperlinks to existing internal & external website pages. You are provided with a rudimentary WYSIWYG type editor interface to enter your page content.
This link type allows you to provide a link to an internal or external web page or a document in pdf, xls, doc or other formats.
Linking Internal pages/documents
You may have certain content which are in a document format such as pdf or ms-doc. For instance you may have a product brochure in pdf and you would like to provide a link to download the brochure. You can use the Website → File Uploader window to upload such directly linked files.
Linking External pages/documents
You will also be able to link directly to external pages, i.e. pages that are hosted on another website.
This can be used to display those products and services that you do not wish to sell online but would like to generate customer interest and enquiries and handle the deal offline. The catalogue link type allows you to build catalogue pages to display your items of products/services. Each Catalogue page can contain any number of items. For each item you will be required to upload an item image and provide relevant information about the item, viz. its technical specification, item code, price and other terms as you may feel relevant.
Items added in the catalogue pages are automatically linked to an Enquiry Basket, allowing the website visitor to add a list of items to his enquiry basket and send an enquiry via the Contact form-to-email page. This makes it easy for your prospective clients to enquire about a set of products/services with ease.
The shop page link type allows you to build shoppable pages to display your items of products/services which can be purchased online. Each Shop page can contain any number of items. For every shop page that you build, all you need to do is simply add a set of items that have already been defined from the items management system. The details of the added items will be automatically drawn and displayed at the website page.
Items added in the shop pages are automatically linked to a Shopping Cart -> Checkout -> Payment system, allowing the website visitor to buy the items online.
If you have setup your store front to auto-build your product pages, you would not require to build your shop pages manually.
The photo gallery link type allows you to build photo gallery pages to display a collection of photos. Each Gallery page can contain any number of photos pertaining to a theme. For each photo you will be required to upload an image file. Optionally, you may provide relevant information about the photo, viz. a photo caption and description.
The Form-to-Email page link allows you to build form-to-email pages. Such forms can be used for purposes of receiving enquiries, feedback, etc. through your website. When a website visitor submits the form at the website, the information submitted is emailed to you at the specified email address.
Bulletin Board/Links List
The Link List page link allows you to build a page consisting of a list of records, each with a caption, brief description and associated links. It can be used to create pages pertaining to bulletin board, announcements, events, news, tender notices, faqs, etc.
Link Access Control
By default all your links shall be publicly accessible. Since your website is equipped with an online sign up and login system, you can take advantage of the other access options. The Public Access links will be visible and accessible to all website visitors. Links that are assigned an access level other than Public Access will not be visible to normal website visitors. They will be visible only to signed up customers after they are logged in provided the customer belongs to the level for which the link is meant. This allows you to categorize your customers into multiple levels and provide special pages for customers at each level. Thus you can give more facilities for customers at higher level.
The file manager/uploader allows you to upload document files. The files that you upload can be referenced in links that you insert in your content page. They can also be used for direct linking when you are building your link structure. Permitted file formats are .
